In the Top Clicks thingy over to the right, there’s an old link that was not rightly set up in one of AP’s comments, so it got clicked a jillion times and ended up as a top click. It isn’t a good link so QUIT CLICKING IT AND LET IT GO AWAY.
I’m not mad, just wanted to point that out with emphasis. Click on his name in my blogroll or go to www.firefallchurch.com
His name is James Smith….do it now man…

I just read an article from my Houston dawg James Smith. Go give it a read.
This ain’t a cutesy preacher guy. No pink shirts, no butt-hugging-woman pants wearing, emo-boy-haircut sissyness; this is steak, eggs and grits with hot sauce baby!
Simply put: no nonsense. No pretense. No games-playing. This is just a real man being real even if it’s ugly at times.
I love this guy. He’s a diamond in the rough. Like, way rough.
You know what…I don’t ever do this, but I’m going to.
Visit www.firefallchurch.com and click on “information”. That will give you the mailing address. Without going into detail, I just have to say that James will never ask for stuff, like ever. But I’ll do it for him. He’s been hit hard in the last three months. There is an ugly thing being done to him as we speak and it is costing him financially. If you can, send him something in the mail. Anything helps.
Just don’t tell him I told you to do it. He hates that kinda stuff. But do it anyway if you can.
Enjoy his writtings and help him out as much as you can,
mark jr.

Well wasn’t He? Don’t we have a cutesy song about that sung by Chris Tomlin? Or is it Charlie Hall? (more…)

1) Yesterday was my 32nd birthday
2) My son’s birthday is two days after me
3) If I had my drumset, I’d rock a fat metal jam, or some fussion, modern jazz, rock…funk…whatever…
4) I have NOT seen Napoleon Dynamite
5) I have allergies real bad right now
6) I don’t dig Reformed Theology at all…
7) I’ve never read so much as one article from Arminius and don’t even know what he taught (that’s why I tell people I’m not Arminian, just Born Again)
I want to learn to play guitar so I can finally one day write all the awesome music that I hear in my head and record all the tracks myself, i.e. guitars, bass, drums, vocals….(I guess that would be another random thing about me…I can sing a little)
So now I guess I’m supposed to tag someone. I’ll hit TJ Scott.
Shweet,

This will be a quick little addendum to my Holy Ghost Drunk and Drunk in the Spirit articles.
I recently acquired my set of Adam Clarke commentaries. Wow. Immense breadth of knowledge and insight into the cultures of the times of the writtings in the bible. This is what has caused todays little contribution. I went to have my oil changed and my truck inspected and brought my commentary along with me to read while I waited. I wanted to see his mind on Acts chapter 2. Then my eye’s fell on his comments on verse 15, (more…)

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
The use of this verse, for some reason, has been chaffing me inwardly for years in an indescribable way. I’ve had this sense in my gut that there is a self-serving attitude and especially a totall and complete ignorance of the context that this verse is found in, much less the historical background of this speaking.
Some important things to consider are:
1) Who is the one speaking?
2) To whom?
3) What are the current historical undercurrents that give this prophecy its depth?
4) Are there conditions put upon the human subjects that if neglected will negate this prophecy? (more…)

There’s this funny thing going on these days. Athiests are trying to commit the unpardonable sin. They actually think they’re doing it, and that’s what cracks me up. They think mouthing words of denial of Nicean creeds puts them ipso facto into hell with no way out. (more…)

This is a fair question to ask. We’ve had prophetic conference after conference for literally decades; no revival in America.
Signs and wonders conferences for eons; no revival in America. (more…)
